msi not booting clone disk hi, quick question - I'm cloning a SATA SSD to a PCIe M.2 NVME SSD (Gen 4). the SATA SSD boots in the new computer no issues. but the M.2 throws up errors & wont boot. now I didnt. They took mine down, I appealed, they said “sorry you have been suspended for supporting fakes”. I even had it on my bio that I BLOCK all DHgate sellers. Fuck IG. They are owned by dying facebook anyway. Foxy LV is on TikTok.

Clean SSD and redo cloning. Use Macrium Reflect instead. Should be much faster, when not using USB. Note - this is important. After cloning is done - for first boot from cloned . Put the BIOS file into the root folder of a USB stick/drive. So I've installed the 980SSD and I have clone Windows on it. However the BIOS doesn't detect the new SSD, it doesn't show in the list of hard drive. But when I use the Motherboard Explorer I can see that the new SSD is recognised. I've replaced my old m.2 256GB Samsung XP941 SSD, my boot drive with Windows 10 installed, with a 1TB 970 EVO Plus. This is on an MSI X99S SLI Plus motherboard that was recently upgraded to the latest non-beta version.
Make sure after the clone process you boot with only the new drive in the laptop. Then add your new second one. The booting with the single drive will help stop any issues from happening.
